There is numerous ways that John and many authors through out the Bible attempt to describe the "end days". The 7th seal opening is to be the final assault. ALL authors are making attempts to describe the final assault. This description was the best I could find: It will be an unleashing of EVERY evil power and their job will me to make those left behind suffer. That is their ONLY job.
Chapter 7 is a parenthetical passage. By “parenthetical" we mean it is one that constitutes a digression (or a clarification). It is placed there between the 6th and 7th seal opening and explains what will transpire between the end of the 6th seal and the beginning of the 7th seal. The opening of the 7th seal introduces the tribulation.
There are three main points to note:
1. This is the FINAL warning.
2. There is an assurance in this chaper as well. Those that are faithful though out this will suffer. But, if the remain faithful, they will come through with the seal of God.
3. There is a promise of no more pain or sorrow, just peace and joy when the faithful make it through this.
Just a short note....Will start chapter 7 shortly.
Sorry there has been such a great pause between this and the last blog, there was a family emergency I had to attend to. My father passed suddenly, I tried to encourage him to seek Christ and all His teachings, not sure I convinced him but I did what I could. It is a tough job for anyone to talk about Christ to those who will not listen and may think of you as a freak, a "holy roller", a outlaw, or what ever word you want to use but the reward of knowing your family, friends and co-workers will be there with you when all is said and done is worth getting outside your comfort zone....isn't it? Because once they are gone, your chance is over.
Please take heed of the final warning Christ (through John) is giving. This may be a last chance to get things right with Christ for you and I want you there when all is said and done!
Blessings on all,

Revelation 6 15-17
Rev 6: 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men,and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks ofthe mountains;16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us fromthe face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of theLamb:17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? KJV
There are 7 different kinds of men mentioned in verse 15:
1. Kings
2. Great men
3. The rich men
4. The chief captains
5. The mighty men
6. The bondman
7. Every free man
These are the most stoic, heroic, manly men. These are the men people run to for advice, protection, and security. But, it says here that they will hide. In my research I have come across some discriptive words of this time John is speaking of:
Isaiah 13: 7 & 8:7Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:8And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. KJV
Zephaniah1 :14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,KJV
Joel 2:1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:...KJV
Luke 23:30Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and tothe hills, Cover us. KJV (Christ was saying this on his way to the cross.)
These verses are just a few I felt compelled to mention. Mere words cannot describe how bad it is going to be. It will be universal and men will seek a hiding place to escape the wrath of the Lord.
The Wrath mentioned in verse 17 is not like the wrath mentioned in Romans 2:5 or, the one mentioned later in Revelation 20. This starts in the opening of the 6th seal (remember, this will occur in the first 3 1/2 years of the week). This wrath will continue till the end of "the week'" or the end of the 3 1/2 years. Recall the prior blog, one week is 7 years!
Not really sure of what to say here other than the time is drawing closer and closer. Please be sure to be with Christ and the church before these times of terrible wrath.
Nest, we start chapter 7!

The time line Reference is Daniel 9 24-27
24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
To understand the time line we need to refer back to the old testament where Daniel's prophecy of the seventy weeks is defined. Daniel gets his prophecy from the archangel Gabriel who was sent to explain to Daniel the "seventy weeks" of years. 70 weeks of years would be a total of 490 years! This is the time it would take for Israel to compensate for their violation of the sabbatical law as mentioned in 2 Chr. 36:21.
Look at the verses above, we see there is a division of 3 periods. the first period of 7 weeks...which is 7 weeks TIMES 7 years or 49 years (v.25). The first period is for the rebuilding of Jerusalem.
The second period is sixty-two weeks, or 62 TIMES 7 which is 434 years (v 25 and 26).The second period is to be from the completion of the city (holy city mentioned in v 24) to the time Christ is crucified.
And the third is one week or 1 TIMES 7 which is 7 years. This last period will end with the advent ( a time of expectant waiting and preparation) of Christ which fulfills the 6 events of verse 24.
These are the 6 things to be done in the 70 weeks of Daniel (490 years):
1. To put and end to transgression: This is referring to the sins of Israel. When they will be saved from all sin at the return of the Messiah.
2. To make an end of sins: Concerns Israel and Jerusalem. This has NOT been done and will be accomplished at the second coming of Christ when a Spirit of Repentance will be poured out. ( Ez. 36:24-30 ; 37:24-27 ; 43:7 ; Zech. 14 ; 12:10-13:1 and Rom, 11:25-29)
3. To reconcile for sin: This was done when Christ went to the cross. But, not for Israel who did not take Christ as Messiah and did not experience the covering of sins. This will now happen at the second coming of Christ.
4. To bring everlasting righteousness: Before Israel and Jerusalem can be "in". They will have to experience full atonement for sins and transgression will come to an end.
5. To seal up the vision and prophecy: There will be no more need for prophets or visions, because everyone will know the LORD....everyone! (Isa. 11:9, 66:7-10 ; Jer. 31:31-40 & Rom. 11:25-29)
6. To anoint the most holy: CHRIST!
Starting time for the 70 weeks? When the restoration and rebuilding of Jerusalem unto the Messiah. Artaxerxes gave Nehemiah the third decree to "restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince" (v 25-26 ; Neh. 2:1-6:19). It is from this point the 70 years are counted.
But, as you cam see we have a problem. The 70 weeks have started but, all the 6 points listed above cannot be fulfulled until Israel and Jerusalem get it together!
Our Messiah crucified was to be after the 62 weeks and was to follow the 7 weeks. But, as we know, it is done. (start of v 26 above) (fulfilled)
The people of the prince that shall come (v26): This is the Romans that destroyed the city and the temple and brought the desolations (fulfilled)
The prince that shall come (v 26) This may also refer to the Antichrist who will come out of the Roman Empire territory. It is the Grecian portion and he will come from the people who destroyed the city and temple of Israel. We also know the antichrist will come from one of the 10 kingdoms not yet formed. (Dan. 7:23-24)
There are 12 events that occur between weeks 69 and 70.
1. Christ crucified (fulfilled)
2. Romans destroy Jerusalem and temple (fulfilled)
3. A war between the Romans and Israel (fulfilled)
4. Israel defeated by the Romans. (fulfilled)
5. Israel scattered among the nations (fulfilled)
6. Desolation of Israel, city and temple (fulfilled)
* All events have been fulfilled but did not occur in the 69 to 70th week. Jerusalem was destroyed about 40 years after the Christ crucified, which should have ended the 69th week.
7. The prince that shall come (antichrist) was suppose to be after the destruction of Jerusalem. But, the Jews were led away in 70 AD so there was no covenant with the Jews to fulfill...still needs to be done in the future.
8. Jerusalem restored as capitol and temple rebuilt. Suppose to happen prior to Antichrist coming. When he arrives, there should be a 7 year covenant with many of the Jews. (not all) Still needs to be fulfilled. (Note from me....read your current news...is this close to becoming fulfilled? I have heard they are ready and waiting to rebuild the temple. Many artifacts are gathered and many of the priest have been trained as well as special Bible specific articles of clothing have been made!)
9. The city and the temple to be destroyed again! (in the middle of the 7 years)
10. Okay, before the 6 events (listed above in the prophecy of Daniel) can be fulfilled, Israel must be restored to their own land, and obtain control of Jerusalem before #4,5 & 6 can occur. Remember, God cut off Israel, rejected them see Luke 21:20-24 : Mt 21:43 ;23:39 & 24:2. Therefore, we cannot fulfill the 70th week following the Crucifixion of Christ. So, the 70th week needs to be completed and cannot happen until Jerusalem regains control and the temple is rebuilt.
11. The prince that shall come will arrive after the 10 kingdoms are formed inside the old Roman Empire territory, and after the rapture of the Church. (2 Thess..2:7; Rev. 4:1) So this would mean that the 70th week must be after these two events. The 70th week will be the last 7 years of this age occurring between the rapture and the second coming.
12.The present church age should have occurred between the 69th and 70th week when Israel rejected and scattered. This lead to the postponement of the fulfillment of the 70th week. Ps 102:16 God will restore Israel in the days of the second coming.
After that:
1. The covenant with Israel and the Antichrist established: This is where the Antichrist gains power over all the 10 formed kingdoms. (first 3.5 years of the 70th week)
2. Antichrist breaks covenant takes over Palestine and makes temple his capitol. We will get into what happens there when we get to it in our blog.....don't want to spoil things for you!
3. End of 70th week. Armageddon! Read the blog when we get there!
Confused?? Key point: When Jerusalem is restored as capitol of Israel AND the temple rebuilt is the next thing to watch for to be fulfilled.
Don't wait around for this to occur before you get right with God!! The time is close and you are missing out on all of God's blessings!
Blessings on all,
Calabash
