There is numerous ways that John and many authors through out the Bible attempt to describe the "end days". The 7th seal opening is to be the final assault. ALL authors are making attempts to describe the final assault. This description was the best I could find: It will be an unleashing of EVERY evil power and their job will me to make those left behind suffer. That is their ONLY job.
Chapter 7 is a parenthetical passage. By “parenthetical" we mean it is one that constitutes a digression (or a clarification). It is placed there between the 6th and 7th seal opening and explains what will transpire between the end of the 6th seal and the beginning of the 7th seal. The opening of the 7th seal introduces the tribulation.
There are three main points to note:
1. This is the FINAL warning.
2. There is an assurance in this chaper as well. Those that are faithful though out this will suffer. But, if the remain faithful, they will come through with the seal of God.
3. There is a promise of no more pain or sorrow, just peace and joy when the faithful make it through this.
Just a short note....Will start chapter 7 shortly.
Sorry there has been such a great pause between this and the last blog, there was a family emergency I had to attend to. My father passed suddenly, I tried to encourage him to seek Christ and all His teachings, not sure I convinced him but I did what I could. It is a tough job for anyone to talk about Christ to those who will not listen and may think of you as a freak, a "holy roller", a outlaw, or what ever word you want to use but the reward of knowing your family, friends and co-workers will be there with you when all is said and done is worth getting outside your comfort zone....isn't it? Because once they are gone, your chance is over.
Please take heed of the final warning Christ (through John) is giving. This may be a last chance to get things right with Christ for you and I want you there when all is said and done!
Blessings on all,
Calabash
