Rev 7:9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.
Last blog we explained the 144,000. This next verse, 7:9 we are seeing the "great multitude" from everywhere! These are the future martyrs, the last company of the redeemed in the book of Revelation. The 144,000 are all living persons that will be translated without dying (see Rev12:5). The martyrs occur ofter the rapture and include the saints under the altar and those killed during the tribulation, dying for Christ. This will be talked about in Ch 14, 15 and 20 (something to look forward to!)
Things to notice in these 4 verses:
1. Notice that it does not say that it could not be counted, just that "no man could number". This meaning that if you saw them standing there, you could not tell how many there was, not that they could not be numbered.
2. They are mainly Gentiles arriving in victory, in the white robes. They do not appear war-worn, beaten down, cold, hungry or miserable. Praise God they are victorious!
3. They are seeing some of the blessings of standing before Christ, being clothed in White and praising God in person...before the throne!
4. ALL mentioned fell before the throne and ALL worshiped God! AMEN
God is our salvation and Christ is the one who purchased it for us!
The Dake's Annotated Bible mentions verse 12 as a 7 fold Ascription to God
Ascription-the act of ascribing a quality or characteristic to someone or something.
1.Blessing- worship
2. Glory-praise
3.Wisdom- omniscience
4.Thanksgiving
5.Honour-reputation
6.Power-omnipotence
7. Might-strength
Translation:
1. We must always be a blessing to God. He has made us and has us.
2. All the glory goes to God for he is worthy, He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
3. God is the source of all wisdom.
4 God is the one who provides us with His grace and mercy, all thanksgiving should go to Him who created us.
5. We must honor God. We need to remember that not only should we request things from our Heavenly Father but, we should honor Him by giving of ourselves and all we have.
6. God has displayed His power over and over in my life as I am sure He has in your too. If not, turn your life over to Him and watch what He can do if you'll only let Him.
7. There is no greater might/strength than what is found in our Lord. Lean on Him, life needs strength, and our Lord has it for you to utilize, with His help.
Blessings on all till next time,

Revelation 7: 4-8
4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribesof the children of Israel.5Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.6Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Naphtali were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasseswere sealed twelve thousand.7Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribeof Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.8Of the tribe of Zebulun were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribeof Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjaminwere sealed twelve thousand.
See Ezekiel 9 1-7 The is a picture prior to the great slaughter, but after the tribulation. It is not unusual for persons to mark those things which belong to them, those things which are of up most important to them. This is exactly what God is doing here, marking His property and saying, "Don't Touch!".
We have touched on the 144,000 before. Just a couple of things to mention here:
1.It is not the number of faithful in our generation, in everyday worship.
2. 144,000 ar not servants when the rapture takes place. Why? Because it says that all in Christ will be taken at that time. Therefore, they are to be saved and made servants of God by the time they are sealed.
3. Recall in Elijah when God reserved 7000 men for Himself? Here He is going to reserve 144,000 Jews for himself.
4. They come from 12 or the 13 tribes of Israel. Notice that Dan is left out and two tribes from Joseph is taken. Why?
A. No one is really sure the guess is that the Antichrist is to come from the tribe of Dan. See Genesis 49:17.
B. The tribe of Dan was the first to go into idolatry, and they may be the last to go into Idolatry, worshiping the
Antichrist.
C. This is a thing we will find out only when it is time for us to meet and ask God. It is not for certain those two
listed above are correct.
Starting with verse 9, things get a little more sticky and the blog will end up much longer. So, I will stop here and allow this to be absorbed, questioned, pondered on.
This is a perfect it to reflect and make sure you and your loved ones are all "property of God". While we don't have a stamp or a mark on our forehead, we should be able to make it clear by the way we respond to our Heavenly Father and by the way we treat His kids!

Revelation 7 1-3
1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the fourcorners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the fourangels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
In ancient times, it was thought the Earth was flat and that there were angles at each corner holding and regulating the weather. It was generally considered that God controlled all the weather, God sent rain, God thundered, God cast down lightening and God made the wind to blow. It was thought that the winds that blew diagonal were the most harmful and that is what the angels are about to allow to happen.
However, we read that there is an angel from the east giving a "wait" warning until all of Gods faithful are sealed. Before the final beast can be let loose, there are persons, chosen by God, a piece of Israel, to be servants of God. These are the 144,000 that did not serve God before the rapture took place and will be chosen and sealed to survive the remaining destruction of the Antichrist.
These 144.000 are to come from 12 of the 13 tribes of Israel, not to be Gentiles.
Really...A literal Mark?
yes..
1. It is plainly stated in v3; 14:1.
2. The angels are told to wait until the 144,000 are sealed on the foreheads.
3. In Chapter 9 we will find that special instruction will be given not to hurt those who are sealed.
4. The mark of the beast is a literal mark (that will come in later chapters).
5. Verse 3 said it will be the name of God in the forehead.
6. We will see that names will be branded on the persons who make it through this horrible time. It was mentioned in Chapter 3 :12 and in future chapter 22:4.
It is thought that the four angels at the corners are the first 4 trumpet judgment angels who are told not to blow their trumpets until the 144,000 are sealed to protect from the judgments.

Blessings on all,
