Revelation 6:13 & 14

Rev 6:13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig treecasteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

So, in verse 13 it says the stars of heaven fell.  Meteorite shower?  Maybe or it could be that some of the persons who we looked upon for guidance who professed to know the Word of God but who had been led astray for one reason or another or, they may have been teaching false doctrine.  In any account we find in Daniel 12:3 "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever."  That verse is taking about the true teachers of the Word, who did live the life Christ taught us to and who had been taken up to join the church when it was called.
These left behind "stars" are those clergy who modern men have put into power, those who "gave into the worldly ways and have changed or "bent " the Word of God so as not to offend anyone.   These "religious men" will fall from a position of power, like "stars from heaven".    The fig tree is another example of the strength that has been taken down.
Verse 14 is a description of John concerning the amount and type of terror that will be occurring on the Earth.  Where is God in this?  Waiting, watching allowing His wrath to begin.  God's wrath began with the opening of the 6th seal.

The next blog we need to go into some depth on the "70 weeks" mentioned in Daniel.  there are 62 events mentioned in Chapter 6 1-20:3 of Revelation.  We need to set a "time line" of how this is all occurring.  I will do it in a separate blog so it can be easily refereed back to in the future blogs.

* Make note, this is the first time there is mention of the Sun Darkening, the moon and the stars being affected.  We will read of them again.

Until the next blog,
Blessings to all,

Calabash
